Hockley & Hawkwell Methodist Church Privacy Statement for the purposes of the  General Data Protection Regulations

Any personal data provided to Hockley & Hawkwell Methodist Church (the Church) will be used only to inform you of and invite you to the Church’s activities including worship, social and community events, fundraising and fundraising events. This will include sending you the Church magazine (The Link). If you give us consent to do so, we may contact you by post, phone, email or text.

Your personal data will be kept on password protected e-mail accounts and websites or in case of paper records in a secure place only accessible to the Leaders and appropriate officers of the Church. Any sensitive personal data, including photographs, provided in relation to specific activities, will only be retained for the duration of those activities unless we have your specific consent.

We will only keep your personal data only while you have agreed we may do so. You can at any time ask to know what information we hold and have it corrected or deleted by contacting the Church on 01702 205870 or via hockleymeths@live.co.uk.

We will from time to time carry out reviews of members and friends and delete the information of any person who has ceased to be an active member or friend of the Church.

We will never sell or pass on your details to any other person or organisation without your permission except that if you sign letters or petitions as part of Church activities or actions or sign up to Gift Aid, any details you provide will be passed on to the appropriate third party.
